Andrea began her journey with yoga in 2008. Her professional dance career left her injured and searching for a new passion. The discovery of yoga and the community surrounding it has transformed her life. Yoga and building community has now become Andrea's passion. Originally certified in Ashtanga yoga, Andrea connects very deeply to the movement of the human body. After attending the Moksha/Modo month long training program Andrea found her life's ambition. Returning home to teach full-time and manage the studio has allowed Andrea to bring together her passions for teaching and building community. Jessica Rosenberg has been practicing yoga and wellness since the early 1990s and teaching for more than 10 years. She studies yogic texts and sequencing philosophies from many yoga and fitness disciplines. The result is a wonderfully blended teaching style and a unique challenging class for children and adults that balances body, mind, and heart to help students enlighten up. Jessica’s greatest pleasure lies in sharing, mentoring and spreading the wonders of yoga movement, breathing and philosophy. A native of the south metro, Kirsten is used to traveling to far off lands {aka “across the river”} for her daily yoga & barre practice. When she learned that a new studio called Sparrow was opening practically in her backyard, she was thrilled (even more thrilled when she was asked to be a teacher there!)! Kirsten is so grateful for the opportunity to share her love of yoga, Yoga Sculpt, and BarreAmped and be part of the Sparrow community. Since leaving behind a vicious decade of drug and alcohol abuse in 2008 Nick has been working to use Yoga as a tool to shape his understanding of the world and his place in it. Very quickly after he started practicing he knew his calling was to share what he was learning so he left behind his “real life adult job” and completed the 1st of what has become multiple 200hr.
