Yoga and I started dating while I was studying exercise science at university. Admittedly I played the field a little bit and had flings with Hatha, Bikram and Vinyasa. We were on again off again and then went our separate ways for awhile and then reconnected again while I was living overseas in Australia. After a whirlwind romance with Power Vinyasa Yoga, we started going steady and have been committed to one another ever since. Back in the day, I used to spend my days working globally for a very hip, forward-thinking yoga firm (any guesses which one?!) I rocked it as a grassroots marketing specialist, people developer and a relationship builder. Today, I spend my days as a student, a teacher, a yoga instructor, a big sister, a goal coach, a self-proclaimed urban hippy and if you ask... Read the profile >>

For the past 12 years, I have been fortunate to have been involved in all sorts of running experiences- from road, to track, to trail, to mountain-running. It is amazing how the simple act of running can elicit such fulfillment. My passion for running is complimented by mountaineering, rock-climbing, yoga and the odd attempt to stay up on a surf-board. Life is never boring! On a professional front, I studied Dietetics and Kinesiology at McGill University. I am currently working as the Registered Dietitian for Thrifty Foods and also have my own business. I am a firm believer of whole health. I love how the lululemon manifesto encompasses the multiple facets of well-being while cultivating awareness, acceptance and positive attitudes and behaviors. I am excited to be a part... Yoga is more than meets the eye. It is not merely the stretching, strengthening, shifting and shaping of the body. At its core, it is an invitation to fully become yourself. My yoga journey began in 2005 with a desire to increase my flexibility and find some peace of mind. After a severe shoulder injury, yoga became a regular practice with transformational effects. Muscles began appearing where I didn't know they existed. After always being the guy who just couldn't touch his toes, I made the impossible possible. Through the physical challenge and precision of alignment, yoga became an addiction. My growth became measurable, literally. I grew 1-cm! However, my true breakthrough occurred with the realization that the poses are just a gateway to the natural essence of who I truly am.... Read the profile >>

I was born and raised in a small town outside of Vienna Austria. In 1995, I left Europe to finish my Ph.D. in Psychology in New York. Victoria became my new home in 1997. I fell in love with the outdoors of Vancouver Island and Squamish, enjoying rock climbing and mountain biking. In 2001 I became Canadian Citizen and a year later, took up running. This new love was pleasantly interrupted by 3 pregnancies (2003, 2005 and 2008) then unpleasantly interrupted by a knee surgery (2009). I needed a goal to motivate me to get through the strenuous rehabilitation of the knee injury and decided to work on being the fittest master runner possible. I have been able to train with only minor set backs since January 2011 thanks to the support of my family, friends and... Read the profile >>

Yoga found me while I was pregnant with my first child. As a graduate from McMaster University with a Physical Education Degree, I was no stranger to movement, however I had somehow missed the yoga mat. Determined to stay healthy and active as my belly blossomed, I took my first yoga class. From that day on, yoga has become an intricate part of my life. The breath, the movement, the rhythm, the fluidity, the steadiness of mind, and the calm sense of well being were new doors to have opened for me. I was hooked! Hard to believe that was ten years ago ~ and now I have two beautiful children who inspire me every day to be playful. They move so freely, and as I continue to watch this I become more and more aware of their liquid nature. The element of water so fluid in their bodies... Read the profile >>

The love of training and transforming my Body began at the early age of 16. The grip of dumbells, the push with each rep, the awareness of breath and that amazing feeling of accomplishment when a training session was completed. This all excited me and kept me heading to the gym for years! Born and raised in Vernon B.C. I spent hours on the lakes skiing and in the winter skating on the ponds. I was always active, always pushing myself, yet never found that team sport that fit me. Strength training became that sport for me. It gave me the discipline and the sense of being part of a community that a team sport offers. I still find myself heading to the gym eager to pick up a barbell or dumbell and begin a great session. It is the one moment in the day I forget everything, all the weight... Read the profile >>
