I came to yoga eighteen years ago when a friend of mine brought me to his class. That evening there was devotional singing and chanting of mantra. This kind of practice rang so true to me. It began a deep love of this spiritual tradition. After training in psychotherapies and rebirthing I had two children and began to practice Hatha yoga for mommy time and found healing being in my body. I became a teacher nine years ago and use my teaching as an opportunity to grow and share my truth.
I teach Hatha , yin and restorative classes. I am also a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist and group facilitator. Currently I am enrolled in a Kundalini teachers training to support my deepening practice. ~ "Though at times we look for outside sources to guide us, somewhere deep inside we know that we must slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and listen to our own inner voice."
