Betty found yoga during her university years. Overwhelmed with exams, papers, projects, relationships, and an active participation in a student association, yoga became her soul food. A minute into her first asana, child’s pose, Balasana, she instantly knew that she came to the right place and ever since, she cannot go a day with practicing. Betty has positive attitude towards life. Her mantra is to practice on and off the mat with truthfulness, compassion, and loving kindness towards all people, all animals, and our mother earth

She feels extremely honored to be trained directly by Ted Grand, Jessica Robertson, and Natalia Brajak, the founders of Moksha Yoga. She now teaches at both locations of Westcoast Hot Yoga, White Rock and Yaletown and at Sau San Tong (www.sausantong.ca)where she teaches in both Cantonese and Mandarin. As a Chinese descent, she feels language should not be a barrier when it comes to practicing yoga

Each class is a new class, new moment, and new opportunity to share her yoga experiences with her beloved students. She also cherishes the relationships that she has built with her students. It has been an amazing and humbling experience. She hopes to continue on studying yoga for the rest of her life.
