Cristina, better known as "Cris", is a volleyball junkie, and has been for the past 5 years. Cris eats, breathes, & dreams volleyball - completely devoted to the sport. Her playing schedule allows her to participate in various leagues-beach, court, and concrete, and in tournaments which involves playing 4 to 5 days a week. For the past 3 years Cris has been a coach for a volleyball clinic on the weekends. As a full time elementary school teacher, Cris has also had the opportunity to coach children (aged 9-14) for the past 7 years in various sports, particularly in volleyball. Through coaching, Cris realizes that she has the power and influence to teach players to believe in themselves. Sandy McHugh
Sandy has been interested in sports since childhood. Since the first school tryout at age ten she has been involved in sport or practice. For eight years she played volleyball, including both school and competitive league volleyball with a National Championship. For seventeen years Sandy was also involved with weight training. Sandy competed in bodybuilding contests, with a first place finish in 1999 and a third place finish in 2001. On top of all that, she also completed her teacher training course at Mad Dogg Spinning and taught spin classes for a year. Sandy first discovered yoga six years ago. Steve Forst
Steve has been an athlete his entire life. He has competed in a multitude of sports, including triathlon, swimming, hockey, mixed martial arts and soccer. Some of Steve’s most recent accomplishments include qualifying for and racing in the Olympic Distance Triathlon World Championships, that took place in Vancouver in June of 2008, winning the Angus Glen 10km race overall in November 2007, and being part of Team Peter Oyler for the Race Across America 2007 to raise money for the Kids Help Phone and finishing as the top Canadian Team and 8th overall.
