Greg Hetherington's unique combination of education and athletic experience allow him to professionally consult clients on a vast array of subjects related to personal fitness and health. By providing a qualified and professional outlook on personal health Greg assists his clients in achieving a total-health approach, encompassing exercise, nutrition and mental preparation.
Greg is no stranger to extensive training. From 2002-2006, Greg played on McGill University's Redmen football team and took a leading role in training team members by developing physical and nutritional training plans. In addition to receiving All-Canadian Team Honours and All-Quebec Conference Honours, Greg led the Quebec conference in receiving yards and broke the career touchdowns at McGill in 2006. He was named best team player, best offensive player and participated in two East-West Bowl University All-Star games.
In May 2007, Greg was drafted by the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. Greg played his last two seasons with the B.C. Lions where he retired in 2009.
Currently, Greg is the General Manager at Think Fitness, a custom boutique fitness studio in West Toronto. Greg has been a personal trainer for 5 years and worked under Vince Danielson at Calgary's best personal training studio, Innovative Health Group. Greg is also a Lululemon Ambassador.
Greg has been featured in the media on The Fan 590 discussing his progression on and off the field since entering the CFL in 2007 and his role as a personal trainer, in the Vancouver Sun and he has also been a guest (here and here) on Toronto's 104.5 Chum FM Roger, Darren and Marilyn radio show as a fitness expert.
Greg is a graduate of McGill University's prestigious Kinesiology Program with a Bachelor of Education and a Minor in Management.
