Call it working out, call it exercise, call it health and fitness- whatever the label, it’s been a major part of Antje’s life for as long as she can remember. Having grown up in an active household and began running 10K’s and half marathons with her father while in jr. high, and later moved on to duathlons, adventure racing, and fitness competitions.
Antje attended Parsons School of Design in New York City and continued to be active in fitness - taking classes in everything from karate to spin and teaching cardio kickboxing at a local gym. After school, returning to the Washington, DC spending time in the IT industry, but never losing her passion for fitness, her desire to stay healthy or her competitive drive.
In May of 2010 Antje broke away from corporate America and moved with her dog Joey to Portland to attend the National Personal Trainer Institute, earning her TWCC-ACPT. When not training, Antje spends time snowboarding and going to concerts with her boyfriend Marc, running, decorating her new home and making the best egg white omelets this side of the Mississippi.
