Exercise professional, aspiring chef, and entrepreneur Daniel Churchill is bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase functional training.
With a Masters in Exercise Science and a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, Daniel is using his well established knowledge to educate and improve Australia’s health care standard.
Born and bred on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Daniel is an essential part of the Strength and Conditioning team for the Warringah rugby club and Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.
Daniel recently released DudeFood Volume 1 which is the first in a series of cookbooks catered towards other young men on how to cook simple, healthy and delicious meals. “I created Dudefood on the basis that all my mates struggled to know what to have and how to make it. I simply began educating them on the basic food options and explained what they can do for their body’s growth and well being.” With a profound knowledge and background on nutrition along with the experience of a ‘beaches Dude’ Daniel has answered the questions of many pondering young adults.
Working with the Sea Eagles in the NRL among other professional rugby teams Daniel understands the importance diet has not only on a performance level but also for general health. He is a nutrition consultant educating on the importance of supplying your body with the right nutrients for recovery and adaptation. This is particularly evident with his own training where he places just as much value on his performance as he does gaining the right pre and post nutritional strategies. When he is not cooking, working out, or educating the public, Daniel is down by the beach enjoying what every dude does.
