Bhangra aerobics is now one of the trendiest fitness and exercise routines, representing a popular alternative to regular cardio classes. It is based on a traditional (and lively!) form of Indian rural dance from the northern state of Punjab. It is the Indian version of zumba! The big draw is the infectious music and vivacious energy that sets the scene, leaving you feeling pumped and energized. The beauty of Bhangra is that you are getting a great workout, while feeling like you are at a dance party. Anybody can do it! The first 40 minutes is intense cardio Bhangra, and the last 20 minutes we focus on toning arms, abs and legs to upbeat Indian dance music. It is safe for all age groups. Be sure to bring comfortable sneakers and regular fitness wear.
