As a life-long fitness advocate and practitioner, I am grateful for the abundant happiness, joy, and freedom I receive from living a healthy lifestyle. Henry David Thoreau wrote, "Wealth is the ability to fully experience life." I have been blessed with that legacy of great wealth and abundance. With this deep gratitude comes the love and desire to share my joy with others. Any activity that moves our body or soul is freedom. Slow and easy or as fast as I can, running is my fun and my freedom. Marathon winner Julie Isphording said it best for me, "Running has given me the courage to start, the determination to keep trying, and the childlike spirit to have fun along the way. Run often and run long, but never outrun your joy of running".

After college and a career in banking and business, I stayed home to raise my precious family and enjoyed community involvement, volunteering for the church, YoungLife, and the schools where my three children attended. During this time I competed in numerous 5Ks and 10Ks, half marathons, triathlons, and marathons, including my dream race, the Boston Marathon. I am always looking forward to the next race. In 2004 I became a certified personal trainer and endurance coach, formalizing what I have done for most of my life. I am the creator and owner of Couture Conditioning, specializing in custom fit, personal, and group training. I wake up every morning thankful that my work is my passion and my passion is my work.

In college I joked with my fitness friends that it didn't matter whether you won or lost, it's how you look when you play the game. To be honest, that was what first attracted me to lululemon. I loved the look. Never before lululemon did I hear shout-outs on a race course of "cutest outfit". The truth is, the look is just the tip of the iceberg. lululemon is pure quality and performance. And, that quality and performance is the reflection of what makes lululemon so special.
