Lori Beveridge

Couture Conditioning

As a life-long fitness advocate and practitioner, I am grateful for the abundant happiness, joy, and freedom I receive from living a healthy lifestyle. So there I was at my first class at Yoga @ Cindy's: an out-of-shape office worker with unhealthy eating habits, scared to embarrass himself attempting yoga. But I went anyways, with my borrowed yoga mat and non-stretchy clothes. And I tried, despite how confused and self conscious I felt. I remember waking up the morning after and being sore in places I didn't even know could be sore! I couldn't believe it. So I thought to myself, "let's see how far this takes me after a month." By the time my introductory month was up, I was hooked. Yoga just clicked for me. There was something about the way I felt every time I stepped off of my... Read the profile >>
