Growing up in Montana gave Jakob a unique opportunity to spend much of his childhood skiing, fishing and hiking through the mountains of The Big Sky Country. As an athlete he enjoys actively participating in all sports. In 1998 Jakob looked to Southern California where he earned a degree from the University of San Diego, while taking up surfing and other southern California favorites. Due to a childhood skiing injury to his lower back, Jake has always been aware of the benefits of core strength. He enjoys seeing the look on clients faces as the sweat drips while they complete his most challenging – core-focused SCULPT Class. Now calling San Francisco home with his beautiful wife and dog, Jake continues to give the gift of health and fitness through the BODYROK experience.
