I have always been active and wild at heart. Now I can put my passion for movement into my daily life. I grew up playing all sports and feel at home when running and exploring the trails where I live in Salt Lake City, UT. I grew up in Denver, Colorado and moved to UT to play soccer for the University of Utah in 2000-2003. After college soccer I through myself into the Marathon scene and was lucky to pull of times in the 3:20:00’s, (sub 3:00:00 is a goal of mine!!) in the SLC and Boston marathons. I met my match and moved to Oregon for a few years. While there we did a lot of traveling back and forth form Europe and Oregon. Yoshi spent the first few years of her life living at a Zen monastery in Los Angeles. Her father was a Zen master and her mother is an anthropologist and artist. From the time she was born her mother would cradle Yoshi in her arms while she meditated. Overtime this instilled a reverence for peace and an understanding for the passion, dedication and discipline that it takes to train in a spiritual practice.
