Mojo Running & Multisport of Pittsburgh
I began my career in the running specialty retail industry over a decade ago. I was a personal trainer, marketing guru turned apparel buyer. I quickly fell in love with the customer base, the product and the industry. In July of 2009 I opened Second Sole here in Cranberry, PA with my then Partner, Steve Hixson the founder of Second Sole Ohio. In July of 2010 my husband, Jack and I bought the shop to make it a family owned and operated business. We fondly changed the name to "Mojo Running & Multisport" to better represent who we are! Running, cycling and competition are my passions. Color, texture, fit, form and fabrication are my simple pleasures in life. I have been fortunate to marry the two together for an amazing business. My philosophy has always been to treat my... Read the profile >>
Being fit has always been important to Nancy. She began running as a way to explore the cities she traveled to as a flight attendant and eventually completed three marathons. Over time, running, biking and swimming became a huge part of her life and helped her get through many difficult times. Yoga was always there to compliment these activities. Over time it became her primary focus and opening her own yoga studio is the culmination of years of practicing and teaching. In addition to completing a 200 hour teacher training in Pittsburgh, Nancy studied in Mexico with Baron Babtiste, where she obtained Level I Certification. She has also practiced with Jonny Kest, Bryan Kest, Gregor Singleton, Natasha Rizopoulos, David Romanelli, Kathryn Budig and Tias Little. Coupled with her... Read the profile >>

Rachel first trained to be an assistant at Amazing Yoga in Pittsburgh in the Fall of 2006 and subsequently completed her 200 hour teacher training with Amazing Yoga in March of 2008. In June 2010, she completed her Level 1 training with Baron Baptiste. Tom Kristo is the founder and operator of Psycle. Tom’s background is as a golf professional at several private clubs in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. The combination of running the golf operations at exclusive private country clubs combined with a passion for fitness is what led Tom to opening Psycle. A former marathon runner who had to cut back on running as he aged and broke down, Tom found indoor cycling could give him the “high” he used to get while running without all the stress on his body. The combination of cycling, a little running, strength training, stretching, yoga and a diet that is fun but not too fun has made Tom feel as though he is in the best shape of his life. My Psycle Class It is a combination of standing surges with tension, running out of... Read the profile >>
The more I learn about yoga, the more truly magical it becomes for me. Underneath the very physical edge of sweat, muscles, breath and strength moves a deep and energizing ocean of what, for me, is extraordinarily spiritual: a compassion, an interconnectedness, a way of being. Yoga has brought me deep faith in the human spirit and the divine energy that links us. Yoga moves me. Fueling this faith is the tremendous sense of community I find in yoga. I learn from each interaction I have with practitioners and am nourished watching students grow in this practice. After my first 200 hours, for which I am truly grateful, I have had the opportunity to practice and train with many awesome yoga communities. including Charleston Power Yoga, Forever OM in Illinois, Bliss Yoga in Cayman and...
