Alanna Kaivalya
Don't Miss the Vibrations... A life-long obsession with sound led Alanna to Jivamukti Yoga, where her teachers, Sharon Gannon and David Life, gave her the freedom to immerse herself in the power of yoga, chanting and music. Also known as The JivaDiva, Alanna travels the world teaching and leading kirtans, and produces the JivaDiva Yoga Jam podcast, which has been heard by nearly a million people worldwide. In March 2008, Yoga Journal named Alanna one of the top 20 teachers under 40 shaping the future of yoga. She teaches at Yoga Journal Conferences, and is on staff at the Omega Institute. Frank Mauro
Om Yoga Center
Frank Mauro was introduced to the basic principals of Hatha yoga practice as a young boy by his father. Later as an adult, in 1990 his interest in eastern and western philosophies, particularly the study of yoga asana began to take root. After dedicating almost a decade of studying with various world renowned and local teachers Frank’s interest began to lean toward teaching. It wasn’t until early 2001 that he decided to train with his primary teacher Cyndi Lee, director of the Om yoga center in NYC. He has been teaching at Om yoga center since 2001 and for the last 5 years has been on the teacher training faculty where he conducts trainings and workshops throughout the U.S. Franks other interests include all forms of visual art, music and chess. Jared Kaplan

Jared Kaplan graduated from Wesleyan University in 1999 with a B.A. in Dance. He completed the anatomy-based Pilates certification at New York City's renowned Kane School in 2004, and joined their staff as an Expert Teacher immediately thereafter. Promoted to Teacher Trainer in 2005, Jared has led Kane School Teacher Training Equipment Certification workshops in all Pilates equipment and repertoire. In 2008, Jared will receive his National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) personal training certification. A former professional dancer with nicholasleichterdance and Tiffany Mills Co. in New York City, he draws upon his movement training and his studies of Alexander Technique (Shelly Senter), Body-Mind-Centering (K.J. Kristen Driscoll
Kristen stumbled into her first yoga class in downtown Manhattan sometime in the spring of 2002. At the time, she was an indie music publicist, spending far more time in rock clubs than health clubs. After a few months of struggling at Bikram Yoga Soho, swearing most every class that she would never come back, things slowly began to change. It was definitely not love at first stretch, but she somehow realized that yoga was beginning to have a profound healing effect in her life. A few years later, in one whirlwind week, Kristen quit her job, got in her car and drove to Los Angeles for Bikram training. She was certified to teach in the Fall of 2004. Mary Dana Abbott
Mary Dana fell in love with the practices of Yoga soon after she moved to New York in 2000. After a few years she felt the call to teach Vinyasa Yoga. She completed her teacher training at Laughing Lotus with Dana Flynn and Jasimine Tarkeshi, whom she continues to study with and be inspired by. Life IS a Vinyasa, and by exploring the movement of our bodies and the mystery of the breath, the fullest connection with the moment is possible.
