Kimball has over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry as a fitness consultant, custom gym designer, print and fitness infomercial model, and is involved in numerous workout videos and fitness product endorsements. She also holds multiple certifications in group exercise instruction, personal training and indoor cycling.

Having taught group exercise classes for most of the major health club companies in the U.S., she is the founder of Group Xtreme Training, a consultancy specializing in teaching instructors how to effectively communicate with students in order to facilitate maximum performance. She is also dedicated to helping her private clients accomplish their personal fitness goals with a focus on education and how to strategize their independent training. Incorporating the psychology of training for optimizing performance in addition to science and technical expertise is the cornerstone of her success.

Kimball’s training philosophy is a strong belief in employing cross training techniques for overall health and performance benefits and includes a comprehensive training methodology. “I want to see everyone mixing it up and challenging themselves in a variety of ways. Getting outside your comfort zone is the only way to improve performance and health.” It is this dedication to providing innovative and creative, yet highly effective cross training programs that lead Kimball to create class formats like CrosSpin-a class that combines indoor cycling and off the bike circuit training, PT FreeSTYLE and The MiXXX60-classes incorporating a dynamic mix of high intensity interval cardio training, strength training, plyometrics, speed and agility, On Track-a treadmill interval class, and The Brick-a combination cycling and treadmill class for triathlon training.

While involved in the acting industry, Kimball was introduced to stunt fighting and has since gone on to land roles on television and film as a stunt double. She trains in a variety of martial arts styles including Kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do, Arjukanpo, Ukidokan, and Wing Chun and recently shot a layout for Inside Kung-Fu magazine. She often utilizes components of martial arts in her class formats.

Her future business goals include continuing to develop innovative group exercise formats, training triathletes, producing independent films, promoting fitness as a lifestyle and growing her custom gym design business. Her future personal goal includes riding as many hours as possible on her road bike and improving her cycling Time Trial speeds. All areas of her life are dedicated to optimizing human performance.
