Marie-Christine Bourgeois, (a.k.a MC) has always been a passionate and dedicated person. At a young age, she was inspired by various pop icons such as Michael Jackson and Paula Abdul and begged her parents to enrol her in hip hop dance classes. After 15 years of dancing, 10 years of which was teaching and 2 Hip Hop World championships under her belt, MC thought it was time to move towards a completely different career path. She left the dancing world behind and pursued a career in Fashion Marketing. She earned a bachelors degree in this field from UQAM University in Montreal, Canada and moved on to what would have been a very lucrative career in the fashion world. However, for MC this wasn’t enough. She knew that there was still something missing. After several months of soul searching, MC realised that a career in both fitness and dance would be essential to her happiness. Shortly after, she became a certified personal trainer with CAN-FIT PRO.
Today, Marie-Christine is the owner and founder of Fitness Evolution, a company that offers effective and challenging fitness programs. MC likes to incorporate new fitness trends to her program such as Pole dancing. This exercise technique is quickly growing in popularity, giving you one of the best full body workouts while increasing self-confidence and giving you the opportunity to let lose and have fun. Fun is not a word that you would normally associate with exercise, but with MC’s enthusiasm and beautiful smile, you can’t help it. Whether she is teaching group fitness or kid’s hip hop, her energy will motivate you to be the best version of yourself that you can possibly be!
Marie-Christine is very excited to announce that she is opening her new fitness studio in the West Island. In order to accommodate a larger client base, MC is combining her services with H4L, a dance company that offers various dance classes such as Hip Hop, Jazz, Cardio dance and much more. So whatever your fitness needs, Marie-Christine Bourgeois is sure to help you achieve your goals.
