Jason has been an active athlete his entire life. After years of intense training, he found himself plagued by nagging injuries that prevented him from competing and training as he was accustomed to. As a means of rehab, he rather reluctantly checked out a yoga class and walked out with something that he never quite found in his years of gym training: an overwhelming sense of wellbeing. Since then he’s never looked back, and has dedicated himself to the study of yoga wholeheartedly.
Jason is known for his passion, enthusiasm, and clarity as a teacher. In his dynamic and challenging classes one can expect precise alignment instruction, an uplifting and light-hearted message, and an emphasis on the practical application of yoga into modern life.
A former Anusara yoga teacher, Jason is registered with Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT (Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher) level. He credits the foundation of his teaching to his extensive training in Anusara yoga and his studies with renowned Tantric scholar, Dr. Douglas Brooks.
