Run Coach and DAC personal Trainer
Matt is a fitness coach at DAC Fitness Laurelwood and he loves to run. He
has been there 3 years and he specializes in training in groups. He also
holds additional certifications in Kettlebells and TRX Suspension Body
Matt started running when he graduated college from Union University to
stay in shape once college sports were over, and has never looked back.
Running is the most basic sport there is. Everyone ran as a kid, and it
is only one foot in front of the other, no matter how fast. He has a
background in triathlon and has multiple marathon finishes as well as two
Ironman Triathlons. He is currently training for his first 50K trail
"I love to be able to help people in any way I can. Whether that is with
a beginner wanting to run a 5K, do their first triathlon, or just shed a
few pounds from a previous baby. Anyone in the fitness industry knows
trainers are not in it for the money, we are here because we care."
