Sharon Spencer is the founding teacher of Evolve Yoga. Sharon has an Advanced Diploma in Yoga Teaching from the Australian Yoga Academy and she has also had the opportunity to study with Mark Whitwell, Nicky Knoff, Donna Farhi, Loraine Rushton and Simon Borg-Olivier. In 2012, Sharon became an Ambassador for the Lululemon Athletica Camberwell store. Sharon came to Yoga from 15 years extensive training and experiential background in teaching dance and calisthenics to children, teens and adults of all ages. As a natural progression from dance, Sharon turned to Yoga to help keep her sane raising three young children, finding her life experience completely transformed. Sharon teaches a down-to-earth and flowing style of Hatha Vinyasa yoga which is guided by nature's seasons and the ever changing seasons of life. Sharon continually encourages her students to be guided by their bodies and breath as they move through their practice, and to practice acceptance of who we are and where we are on our life’s journey.
