"Your outlook on life is a direct reflection of how much you like yourself." Be happy and live each day to its fullest!!

Sarah's life has been transformed during the past year. In the summer of 2011, her husband's job brought them to Madison, which meant she had to leave her corporate job downtown Chicago. She and her husband were thrilled to move back to Madison as they met at the UW 12 years ago. Rather than jump back into the corporate world, Sarah decided to use her time and talents to invest in people and create a new life.

Sarah has always been a fitness enthusiast, being first inspired watching her mom dress in a leotard and sweat during step aerobics in the 90’s. She started her fitness career by teaching TurboKick, PiYo and Zumba during her lunch-break or after-work downtown Chicago. In order to keep her body (and mind) balanced and healthy, she became certified to teach Yoga and Pilates.

Sarah most enjoys teaching yoga and Pilates due to the transformational aspect of the practice. She has watched yoga and Pilates heal bodies and uncover a deeper sense of happiness in people. Yet Sarah's favorite way to sweat is in group fitness classes such as TurboKick and Zumba because the energy is high and the music is loud!

Sarah is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, a 560-hour Certified Pilates instructor, is certified to teach TurboKick and Piyo, and is licensed to teach Zumba. She also holds her ACE certification in personal training and group fitness. Sarah believes we must "be transformed by the renewing of our minds" and finds continuing education keeps us fresh and sharp. She is currently enrolled in her 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training (expected completion May 2013).

Sarah loves that she has been able to reinvent herself and start down a new path. "To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishments." (Ralph Waldo Emerson).

She is so grateful that Madison has been such a welcoming and nurturing community. She hopes to cross paths with you, whether in one of her classes or somewhere around town!
