Pat’s repertoire of athletic achievement is varied, ranging from captaining his college golf and hockey teams to sailing in the Olympic trials to competing in Ironman. You’d be hard pressed to find a sport Pat will not try. This is one of the principals his business, Pat’s Gym, is based upon. The Gym, located in downtown Madison, focuses on training elite, professional, Olympic, and highly motivated athletes. Pat has had great success doing this in part because he experiences and studies every sport his clients excel in. This has pushed Pat to learn unique sports such as curling, rowing, and rock climbing.
Pat’s favorite way to sweat is getting in a good workout in at his gym. This may be anything from 2800 pull-ups like he did for his 28th birthday challenge to hosting and competing in the 2011 Ski Erg World Sprints. No two work outs are ever the same at Pat’s Gym. In addition to being a successful athlete and small business owner, Pat is a model, husband, and father. During his free time he can be found spending time with his family.
Pat’s favorite manifesto is “This is not your practice life. This is all there is.” For Pat, this sums up the meaning of all the manifestos in addition to the way he approaches each day.
Pat is C.S.C.S. certification and holds a degree in Exercise Science and Management Studies.
