Runner. Triathlete. Professional Trainer. Spinning Instructor. Endurance Coach.

A firm believer that fitness professionals must first and foremost “walk-the-walk,” Albert has completed over a dozen marathons and numerous other road and trail races of various distances. He views running as more than just a form of physical exercise. To him the running lifestyle is transformative and can be life-altering. “Running taught me how to be disciplined, how to be consistent, and how important and valuable it is to finish what I start.” This passion for running and seeing what the body can endure recently evolved and now Albert concentrates on becoming the best triathlete he can be. He had an inauspicious start during his orientation period to the sport when he’d have panic attacks in the water. In 2010, however, Albert swam 2.4 miles, biked 112 miles, and ran a marathon, crossing the finish line at Ironman Wisconsin and hearing those coveted words, “Albert, YOU are an Ironman.” He has wholeheartedly bought into the Ironman lifestyle and plans to train and compete every other season so to balance sport with helping his wife raise their two young children in Overland Park, Kansas.

Albert is proud to serve as Leawood Lululemon’s Run Ambassador. He looks forward to his role in the running community and continuing the work he has established as one of Kansas City’s top personal trainers and most dynamic fitness professionals. Albert works with clients privately and in small groups and also instructs indoor cycling classes at Woodside Health and Tennis Club in Westwood, Kansas.

Albert’s motto: “Have the courage to be TOUGH. Don’t be afraid to be GREAT. Try and SMILE as much as you can.”
