Rhonda believes the beauty of yoga lies in its power to connect us to the deepest parts of ourselves. She encourages her students to recognize their own inner beauty and goodness and to embrace the great mystery of life. Her teaching focuses on self acceptance and love, encouraging students to honor their own inner wisdom, while empowering them to embrace and enjoy the journey of life.

Rhonda offers students a physically challenging practice, embraced with heart and spirit weaving together principles of alignment with a meditative flow. She emphasizes physical alignment, conscious breath, core strength and subtle body awareness.

First introduced to yoga in the early 70’s, Rhonda began studying yoga and philosophy more seriously in ‘98 and began teaching in ‘99. She holds teachers certifications from The Houston Institute of Yoga and The Kripalu Yoga Center in Lenox, Massachusetts.
Rhonda has also studied extensively in the Anusara tradition. Recently, she has been inspired by the deeper levels of insight and wisdom she gains through her own yoga practice and it has led her to celebrate and study the diversity of many styles. Her teaching continues to be influenced by discoveries in her own practice and her life experiences along her journey.

She holds two bachelors degrees and a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Houston. She teaches yoga at The Yoga Studio of The Woodlands and at Montgomery College.

“Yoga has been one of my greatest teachers, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to share it so abundantly with others. As we build strength and freedom in our minds, bodies and spirit, we naturally cultivate more clarity and openness in our hearts”.

Breathe deeply and appreciate the moment. Living in the moment could be the meaning of life.
