The Mediterranean diet incorporates the basics of healthy eating among other components characterizing the traditional cooking style of countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, particularly Southern Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Portugal, Turkey and Spain. Gaining popularity in the medical community because of its amazing health benefits, Mediterranean-style cooking also tastes great and is easy to prepare.



Join Café Physique’s Nutrition & Wellness Coach, Kathianne Williams, MEd, RD, LD for an overview of the eating plan, its health benefits, and how it compares to the current US government food pyramid. About Kathianne: Kathianne has a passion for helping others nourish their whole selves and reach their highest potential. She has completed extensive post-graduate coursework in behavior change and health psychology and has counseled thousands of clients since 1996. Through her valuable experience as a Registered & Licensed Dietitian and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, she has developed an expertise in helping clients break away from yo-yo dieting and move on to positive relationships with food and their bodies. This experience, coupled with her wonderful attitude, education, and passion has driven her success.
