Gustavo Ferman, originally from El Salvador Central America, is a professional Dance Instructor, Choreographer and the Artistic Director of his own dance company - Corazon Dance Productions located in Vancouver, BC, Canada. He is the creator of Latin Funk Dance® - a fun, high energy dance fitness program where you learn dance moves and choreography with the bonus of getting a great cardio workout at the same time! A fusion of 6 different Latin Styles (Salsa, Merengue, Mambo, Cumbia, Cha Cha Cha and Rumba) Hip Hop, Afro/Funk and Jazz!

With over 20 years of dance background, teaching over 500 hundred students a week, Gustavo Ferman is a force to be reckoned with in the dance and fitness industry! You can find his registered dance program throughout the lower mainland in community centres, fitness facilities, schools, corporate work places, a DVD selling in local stores and over the internet, as well as, a dance fitness show coming out in the Fall of 2007 on Channel M.

Gustavo is also an entertainer! Performing and choreographing with his own dance group The Corazon Dancers. He illuminates Public, Corporate and Private functions with his impressive showmanship, his unique performances and his fun interactive dances for any type of crowd. He also finds time to teach couples Salsa, private lessons, produce music and act.

Over the years, Gustavo has been featured on: Global Television, The Life Network, City TV, Channel M, Shaw Cable, Multi Cultural Channel, CBC Radio, Latino Soy Radio, as well as, articles written on him and his program in the Vancouver Sun, Metro News, Georgia Straight, Japanese newspapers and many local magazines.
