Dawn has owned and operated A Step in Time School of Dance in Calabasas for the past 19 years.

She was raised in Cincinnati where her mother operated her own studio for 55 years. Dawn has performed in Japan, Mexico, the Virgin Islands and throughout the United States. Dawn has appeared on television, commercials, and has performed with different theater groups. Dawn has also performed with her students at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, Fox Studios, Sydney, Sydney Wonderland, Carnegie Hall in New York City, The Royal Caribbean Lines and Norwegian Cruise Lines. Dawn taught in NYC for Henry LeTang, choreographer of “ Sophisticated Ladies” and “Tap” before moving to Los Angeles as well as guest teaching throughout the USA. Dawn graduated from Miami University in Ohio with a B.A. degree in psychology and sociology and from Antioch University Los Angeles with a M.A. in Clinical Psychology.

In addition to dancing, Dawn works as a therapist specializing in eating disorders. She has a private practice in Calabasas and works at several treatment centers as an eating disorder consultant. In addition, Dawn has recently opened a Sober Living/ Transitional Home for Women with recovering from addictions and eating disorders.
