Chip saw an exponential increase in the number of females participating in yoga and athletics so he created lululemon athletica to offer technical apparel with flattering cuts for both women and men.

Born from simple beginnings as a design room surrounded by a retail space, today lululemon athletica designs, distributes and retails throughout stores in North America and around the world.
