My name is Christina Breault and I am a dance instructor at Marr Mac Dance and Theatre Arts Centre. I have been part of the Marr Mac family for 27 years. I started talking Creative Movement classes when I was three years old and fell in love! From there I continued to studying ballet, tap, Jazz and Modern. I knew from a young age that I would never be a professional dancer but that never mattered I just loved to dance! I loved the structure of dancing, the challenge of dancing, the fitness part of dancing, the friends I made in dancing and the teachers I had at dancing....I loved everything about Dancing! I grew up at the studio knowing that I always wanted dance to be a part of my life as it has had a huge part of shaping me into who I am. In 1996 entered the next phase of my dancing life as a Ballet Instructor and I LOVED it! It blended two of my passions (teaching children and dance) perfectly into my dream job! I hold my Associate Teaching Diploma with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and head the preschool and early grades training program at Marr Mac.
Marr Mac’s philosophy is “To instill the love of dance and music and to provide a supportive atmosphere which will encourage students of all abilities.” This is the reason why I have and will always be a part of Marr Mac, I love to teach, I love seeing the kids grow and improve and I love making a connection with each and every child and their families over the years. Dancing is a creative, expressive outlet for our souls...what a wonderful thing to be a part of!!!
