It is a signal to those with whom I work that the weekend beckons. That little bit of sunshine to brighten the social mood. Even my car is white. It's hard to describe, just makes me feel happier, uplifted, optimistic, youthful. Maybe my aura comes through when I wear it, who knows :) I wear black when I want to be taken seriously, but also when I don't want to stand out. When I'm feeling low on confidence it's the right colour for just melting into the crowd. But that's not a good thing in my books...would rather feel expressive not passive. I wonder if wearing bright colors during the winter was the norm if we'd have a lot less seasonal affective disorders. What you wear really can affect your mood and the mood of those around you.
