I have this headband in black and even with securing the band with bobbi pins it slips every single time. I have given up on it. I wouldn’t spend $12 on this band-it slips!

I have experience with Irish Dancing as well, and I can tell you that, with the all the jumping around you do, it’s hard to find something that will stay on your head. As someone with smooth, straight hair, I find that the Slipless Headband and Satin Pirouette Headband stay put better with a couple bobby pins anchoring it in place.

Hi
My slipless headband constantly falls of my head!!!I do irish dancing and I jump and move a lot. I need some headband that will keep the hair off my face and won’t slip. Also, I have tried the pirouette headband, wich is ajustable, but I have no luck either. My head is fairly small. Do you have any suggestions?

i have been checking the website so that i know what to look for the next time i go shopping at a lululemon store, but there isn’t that much here. You cannot even look at the diffrent headbands you want to buy why?

Literally just got home from a sweaty yoga class and this headband didn’t budge! Thanks for a product that does exactly what it says. I agree with Liz, more colors please!

I just got one of these and I love it! Not only does it stay really well, it doesn’t put a crimp/bump in my hair like some of the other slipless headbands I’ve tried. It does move a little over the course of a 1.5 hour yoga practice, but not to the point where it bothers me or falls off my head. I would love to see more colors/prints of these on the website!

I love this headband even though I do have to stick a few hairpins in it to keep it in (after it gets sweaty). I sweat a lot in my classes and after class, my headband is soaked, but my hair is pretty much dry. It’s so moisture wicking! These stay on much better than the regular headbands, but are not 100% slipless. I still swear by them though!

I do not agree with the general impression this post gives you. If you notice the spot that the model has the hairband is significantly different than in the final picture…

I, too, purchased the $12 slipless headband to run with. My first run with it, it was fine. Unfortunately, after that, it was all downhill. I do sweat when I run, so that probably has something to do with it. In addition, even when I wear it on lazy hair days, I still have to fix it every so often. I tried to “shrink” it, by throwing it in the dryer, but no luck.

Nice concept, but you will find over time (and I’m talking a few weeks, not months or a year) it loses its gripping power.

As much as I LOVE all of my Lululemon gear, I have to say this headband has not lived up to the hype. I sweat a LOT (gross, I know) and the sweat pretty much takes away all the effectiveness of the “slipless” strip.

I absolutely LOVE this headband. This is the only head band I’ve found that doesn’t pull, tangle, or slide off while I run. I bought my first one before my first half-marathon and was amazed how it didn’t move through all the sweat, water-dousing, and overall wear and tear throughout the race. I went back a week later and bought one in every color. I definitely recommend it to everyone I know!
