Below is an up close look at some of the technical features that really make our run line rock. The next time you take one of our run garments out for a spin, take a deeper look at the features that are built in to keep you focused on pace over chafe.

Built in liners

The liners are moisture wicking and we sew them in backwards so the seams don’t chafe – pull one out and have a closer look!

Flat seaming

Not all running shorts/shirts out there have flat locked seaming, which stumps us because chafing is the #1 complaint from runners. Say it loud and proud: our shorts and tech tops are flat seamed to prevent chafing!

Key pockets

Runners want pockets for gels and keys, and we put them in the right places so they don’t get in the way.

Removeable labels

Love your products and always run with them!! But I will say that I have had chafing problems in the underarm area with one of your tops, but maybe it isn’t meant for running? Only happens after long distance runs, though (21km + )

Hi guys – I too always run in your products and think your technical running gear is the best – but I also have a chafing complaint. I’m a marathoner/half marathoner and always get a very nasty little chafe spot from the drawstring in the running tights. lame! They need to be cinched up and knotted so they don’t slide – but the knot falls inside the pants, snugly against the abdomen and hurts after 15+ km….hmmm, thoughts??

That is great feedback regarding our running line! Kirsten, do you know what the name of the tank is that you have chafing issues with? I’d love to pass along more details to our design team :)
Andrea, your feedback about the drawstring is awesome and I will definitely make sure our run designers hear about it.

I am part of a group of tennis/fitness ladies and we all love your clothing. We love the picture of the runner with the dog. We all have the jacket and love it. Who are the people? What kind of dog is that? He’s gorgeous. Great photo.

I saw someone wearing a Run: Shrug Tech longsleeve shirt recently and was wondering if you are going to make that in the future? It was a beautiful olive green/dark gray color. Would love to run in one for the half marathon I am training for in fall. I looked at your current longsleeve selection right now and did not see anything similar. And if it could be in that color….that would be great too! Not seeing anything that color online right now, either.

Comment on the Run Skirt: while I positively adore the look of the skirt, I must voice a complaint about the inner skort-shorts. They provide no compression whatsoever and ride up every step I take. NOT GOOD.

The skirt is already short in length and I had to get up my confidence to show that much thigh. It doesn’t help at all that as the inner shorts ride up the skirt gets hiked up too, making it even shorter to the point of being embarassing.

For all the talk about making “technical” Run products, I have to say that this Run Skirt falls way “short” of the mark…
