Above: Meet Rob Kirsch, our Director of Operations.

What brought you to lululemon?

I was inspired by the opportunity to do business differently and to grow a worldwide brand while still keeping the integrity of a small specialty store.

What do you like best about working at lululemon? What do you like best about your role?

The challenge of reinventing yourself or your role every day.

What skills / qualities have made you successful in your role?

As I spent my previous career as a coach, my ability to identify talent and build great teams. The greatest satisfaction I receive is in watching my team develop and achieve their goals and move on to the next challenge in their lives.

What is your lululemon legend?

My legend will be found in those I have touched. I am a peer mentor and leader and I am a source of knowledge. I help develop all those I touch in some way as an individual both personally and professionally.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to be in your role in the future?

To always understand your role and how to add value in whatever you do.

Meet Amy Curry-Staschke, a truly inspiring leader who improves our products, our company and our actions each and every day! We are lucky to have her.

What is your role at lululemon?

Heading up Global Compliance, Quality Assurance and Community Legacies. This is basically all about elevating the quality of our product and the quality of our actions.

What is a typical Monday at the office?

Walk to work, meet with Jacco about our global factory partnerships, review store product quality feedback from the weekend, go work off the weekend food splurges with Rob’s 11:15am circuit training class, have our weekly quality call with our full QA team to align on goals for the week, hear ideas on improving our environmental and social impact from our advocate team, and huddling with the other product pod leaders to make sure we’re supporting each other and our stores in the week ahead.

What brought you to lululemon?

My first yoga class (Bikram) in Burlington, Vermont, in 2004. Didn't have proper clothes for it and of course my instructor (Thanks Mindy!) had a gorgeous lululemon outfit on and I asked ’Where did you get that…..?’. The rest is history.

What is your greatest achievement so far?

Gotta list two….(1) Learning at swim at the age of 27 and then doing a Half Ironman Triathlon with an Atlantic Ocean 1.2m swim at the age of 30 and (2) marrying the best man in the world

What skills / qualities have made you successful in your role?

Southern charm, diplomacy, passion and courage.

What are your quotes to live by?

"Kill them with kindness" - My mama
"My greatest fear is not death but not living" - Joel Curry

What are your quotes to work by?

"Real change requires 10x the amount of communication you originally intended" - Carly Fiorina, ex-CEO HP
"If it can’t be measured it doesn’t matter" - Edward Giard, mentor

When you were younger what did you want to be?

A Solid Gold dancer. Seriously.

How do you sweat once a day?

Yoga, long-distance running, circuit training or swimming.

What's your favorite piece lululemon makes?

Wunder unders

What is your 10 year goal?

Live in an ashram for two weeks.

Do you have a BHAG?

Found and direct the Global Sustainable Supply Chain Program at the United Nations.

Where do you think lululemon will be in 50 years?

We will be the first global company to remain locally relevant – will truly be the hub for health and wellness in every individual community. 50 years? I see about $18billion in revenue, 28,000+ employees and 900 stores, not to mention our online presence – think of the communities we can support and elevate!
