Make it work. That has been the theme of my training week. Having a full time job, a husband, and somewhat of a social life makes training quite the task for me. This week I found a few excuses to delay my runs, but got them all in and within my time frame. I also took an impromptu trip to Oklahoma for the Women’s Softball College World Series, where my Bruins are playing for the national title.

I have an extreme love hate relationship with running. I hate the process of running, even if it’s a mile or less. But by the end, my body absorbs an aura of happiness and accomplishment that I haven’t been able to duplicate with other workouts. Coming up on my third half marathon, I have decided to blog my journey to show that one, ANYONE can run a half marathon, and two I am hoping some of you will hold me accountable to my goal with tips of your own.

With the summer months coming our designers have focused on lightweight fabrics that will make you feel like you are running naked and free, with full coverage.
