		<description><![CDATA[Way to go Kirsten! 

I&#039;m training (again) for my first triathlon this June. Had a setback last year when I broke my collarbone after coming off my bike on a training ride. Everything&#039;s healed this year and I&#039;m back in the pool again. 

Biking will have to be RPM spin class at my gym until the roads are snow and ice free. Still I love the pace and the sweat of a good spin class.

As an exercise physiologist and personal trainer I always encourage patients and clients to participate in athletic events and competitive activities. It makes regular strength training and cardio more meaningful and rewarding. Great suggestion. I scientifically agree!!
