Pretty cool that you get that opportunity. I was recently turned down for a job at Lulu despite having ample availability. I was told it was because I did have another full time job. I guess my day job of coordinating transplants for children with leukemia prevented me from my dream 2nd job. Cant lie, pretty dissapointed in lulu.

YES! We used to joke at Robson that everyone was moonlighting as something else. Actors, teachers, dancers, mothers, trainers, volunteers, designers…the list goes on. Over the years, I have come & gone from this company (travelling, school, and what not) and it is certainly the people that have me eagerly coming back time & time again. Great blog.

Haha! That was me for 8 months! And I gave up the full time gig and came over to lulu full time and haven’t regretted it! It’s the culture and people that definitely sets lululemon apart. You’re not alone, Maris, and we’re so lucky to have you!

You Rock!!!!! Even though I took a hefty pay cut from my old job as a skilled tradesman to come to lululemon, the benefits of goal setting, personal development and a supportive environment all make it worth it. Who could ask for more than to be able to share their passion ( for me that’s running and yoga) with the world???
