Hi Rachel,
I wouldn't recommend using anything other than washing soap. Here's a link to some best practices when it comes to washing lululemon technical gear: http://bit.ly/w1wslA

Hi Miranda,
I recommend to resoak your hoodie before washing and see if the stain starts to fade. It may take some time, but hopefully you’ll start to see improvement.

Hey Teresa,
I might suggest bringing them into your local store so an educator can have a look at them. There are different kinds of pilling, one wear cottons stick to the fabric creating coloured balls on the fabric, and there other that occurs due to abrasion caused by friction. While abrasion is a natural part of wear overtime, the rate at which it occurs will depend on the frequency of wear and if it was used for it's intend purpose or not.

Hey KC,
Thanks for your question. Putting a patch may help this, although the seaming my show in the area. I'm not an expert in this area, so I might suggest heading into a local tailor to get their opinion.

I just got a pair of Studio Pants about a month ago. I absolutely love them. I noticed a very tiny little tear on my thigh (only about 1-2mm.) could I put a tiny patch on the inside of the pants to prevent it from getting any bigger?

Hey NC,
I've had my Black Remix Hoodie for about 2 years now. I've worn it to death, but am only noticing it to show a bit of wear after all of this time.

To keep your hoodie looking amazing, when possible, hang to dry. But as that isn't always possible, when you pop it in the dryer, make sure it is on a low heat. Higher heats tend to age garments faster and they loose their longevity. I've found this is the best trick to keeping your garments looking great.

Thanks for your question,
~Jenna

Hi,
I just purchased the black men's Domain hoodie as a gift and the black fabric already seems to attract lint. It looks great after putting the lint roller to it, but I am wondering that even by following the wash instructions that it'll look faded quickly...especially since my first thought was "this looks faded" due to the illusion created by the lint. The fabric is thick and super soft, which is probably why the lint attaches so well. Suggestions?!? I'm tempted to return it for another color but the black is so nice! I want it to stay that way!

Hey rmck,
I would try using a stain removed on the effected area. If you still have the care tags, I would have a read of those and see if it allows for dry cleaning.

Hey Jill,
If the pants you have are made of luon or any of our other technical fabrics, they should be washed only with other technical fabrics. If you wash them with fabrics like cotton, they could pill. I'd suggest hand washing them if you only have one pair or not enough for a load of washing. Avoid fabric softener as well. You can either hang to dry your pants or put them on a low heat setting - again with only like fabrics.

Hey Laura,
Yes, I lint roller won't work on that as the fluff is stuck to the nylon fibres. What you can do to remove them is use a de-piller or electric shaver. Make sure the pant is flat and you gentle go over the pant as you don't want it to snug.

Hey Nicole,
I've heard some people like to put a teaspoon of baking soda in their wash and that this will eliminate any lingering odours. I'd suggest giving that try. There are also sports detergents that help with this as well.

Thanks for your questions everyone,
~Jenna

Hey All!

@ Emily: Do you have the Everyday Yoga Jacket? If so, you can pop it in the wash on a gentle cycle with cold water (I also like to zip mine up and turn it inside out so the zipper doesn't catch on anything.) You can pre-treat any stubborn stains with a little liquid detergent. I'd also hang it to dry rather than putting it in the dryer.

@ Viviana: Because our luon fabric can become electro-statically charged, it's best not wash it with anything that has a high cotton content such as towels or socks. Cold water with other luon and mild detergent is the best way to go. I always suggest hanging them to dry as it extends the life of the luon even more.

@ Carrie: We generally don't recommend ironing any of our garments as the heat can damage the technical fabrics. I would swing into a store to have an educator take a look at it for you.

@ Ann: I wouldn't suggest dry cleaning any of our products. The fabric of the Live Healthy and Universal Wraps can be delicate so I wash mine with inside a garment bag, in cold water with mild detergent. As they're knit, I lay mine flat to dry as hanging can sometimes stretch them out.

Hope this helps!
