How did you find putting goals down for the next 10 years? I just can’t seem to visualize what I want and I think about my priorities and goals from 10 years ago and things change, priorities change. Would love to hear more about your story! Comment by Aleksandra S — September 8, 2010 @ 6:35 pm |

I set my goals yesterday and I had forgotten how useful they can be. It has been about 5 years since I last did it and that was setting goals for the company I worked for not for what I really wanted to do. I too stopped the process because I just couldn’t reach my goals set due to unforeseen circumstances but as it happens it all worked out for the better. Now I am at a place where sitting down re-evaluating where I want to be in 1,5,10yrs can be accomplished. Some of which will take me out of my comfort zone. Failing and re-evaluating goals as you go along is part of the process, what once seemed appropriate may change with time and age! (I am not that old). My 20′s had a different idealisation than my 30′s. As they say, just do it, give it a go, no such thing as failure just positive mental attitude and managing the challenges. Hi Ava, You inspire me. Way to be so cool, calm, and composed. I started my own business, too. Good luck with yours…. Kevin Comment by Kevin — February 3, 2012 @ 3:23 pm |
