Any Jodi Picoult would be a great beach read. She’s fantastic. Or Light Lifting by Alexander McLeod- it’s short stories so you don’t have to be attentive as long. And Love Charlaine Harris.

That magazine list is not complete without SELF, although I honestly can’t say I disagree with any of your suggestions :) My husband and I have a lakehouse in New Buffalo, Michigan and we love getting away for the weekend at least once a month, sometimes twice in the summer. It’s a great way to catch up on our reading while soaking up the rays. Our neighbors introduced us to polarized reading sunglasses for those of you that are like us and enjoy reading on the beach from sun up to sun down!

I feel that recommending books especially those of “pop authors” like Nick Sparks, cuts into the integrity of what lulu lemon is all about. “Cosmopolitan magazine”?? C’mon! Don’t insult my intelligence, just do what you do best-make great yoga clothes, introduce people to new types of mind/body exercise, and leave our literature up to us.
