I.AM.SO.INSPIRED.

I walked into the Calabassas, CA LL recently and saw the goals written by their employees. The detail, not to mention vulnerability in displaying to the public, of the goals was wonderful - and inspiring. I started talking with my husband right away about our goal-setting. I've always done this as an individual, but we're excited to do this as a couple now - for our family. Thank you.

Good article, but I don't think it's enough to put something into schedule "for next week" and feel happy about it. We have the tendency of keep putting things off. As they say, never put until tomorrow things that you can put until the day after tomorrow". As other wise people say, tomorrow never comes, we only leave in today, and the magic word tomorrow actually leads us to something that is not real. My advise to those that want to start 3 day a week yoga routine would be to start right now. Right now stand up from your seat and do very basic exercise that let you prepare your body to what you will do tomorrow. And tomorrow you will not have to sweat for 1,5 hours, just make 10 minute exercise right after you get up. Everyone has got 10 minutes, you cannot apply time excuse to 10 minutes a day. Your determination and your spirit, however loud that would sound, will grow, and by the next week (by the day you have promised yourself to start something) you will be prepared to do 15 minutes a day. That's a way to nice habit without torture.

Love this advice on getting on with goals.

For setting and getting goals, you may want to check out a goal setting app called GoalsOnTrack, a very nicely built web app designed for tracking goals and todo lists, and supports time tracking too. It's clear, focused, easy to navigate.

Every human does not have the same amount of time in a day... Take 2 women working in the same marketing job 40-60 hours a week, one is single and the other has 3 kids including a newborn she is breast feeding, an 18 month old in diapers and a 6 year old in kindergarten that she has to take to and from school. With an absent husband focusing on his own career, the mom has far less time than the single woman who doesn't have the responsibilities of caring for multiple people

Everything was lovely, except the advice to maybe not take calculus anymore. That's like telling someone who's not good at yoga to maybe not take that anymore once they are done a set of classes...We may not always initially love the things we do, its all about the benefits we reap in the end :)
