I can only guess that someone with negative comments and proclaims that they have been practicing yoga, haven't been practicing long enough. Everyone that I know that practices Yoga is very positive and supportive. That said, I was very impressed with this site and I started relaxing just reviewing it. Of course, being from California, we do look at things differently. Thanks Lululemon. You are Awesome.

"Friends are more important than money," as long as you have enough money for "expensive fancy cocktails." I love Lululemon, but considering the price point of Lulu's products, this particular slogan seems eyeroll-worthy - and ready for retirement.

I agree, I think someone needs to take a deep breath and relax. The post is a nice mash-up of the Lulu manifesto and cool things to see and do in the Meatpacking Dist. area of NYC

Ick. That image of the soldier kissing the woman, done up all pretty here, was actually a case of sexual assault — she didn't know him and didn't want to be kissed. "Creativity is living in the moment" — this extends to sexual assault? Yucky.

Looks like Aleya needs a hug- so sad that she is missing the point- I am not sure what kind of yoga she is practicing, but I am pretty sure that at its core- yoga is about the mind body connection and finding peace- so if you are at peace you don't feel the need to be so critical.

I am so inspired by Nicole and love that her classes focus on small intimate gatherings. I'm always so jealous when I read these things and then can't attend a class! Maybe a trip to NY soon... :)

As cheesy as you might have felt the blog post was maybe you need to do some work on yourself so you don't deem it necessary to belittle other people in thier practice. Just a thought. Then again it is people that say things like you just did that cause a fear in others to take up the practice, and isn't it all about bettering yourself and encouraging others.

I really enjoyed this post -- I think that with all of the hustle and bustle in NYC, it is important to take the time to slow down, enjoy the moment, and take care of yourself. This post inspired me to do so, and introduced me to some fun new places that I'd like to check out. Thanks!

Maybe cheesy and empty, but reminders are always welcome in this crazy hectic world we have created for ourselves. Sometimes we forget the obvious. LLL next time you should include an article on kindness and acceptance of others, the world needs way less criticism. Maybe a half moon pose and a deep breath will help others in the meantime.......

Hi, I just feel that the messages you put out ... drink water, friends are more important than money are so cheesy. They dont mean anything and I feel that new yorkers deserve so much than that. I just read this post and it made me laugh. Maybe this stuff is okay in canada your home country but as a new yorker I find this manifesto so empty, so cheesy, so exploitative of what yoga is.

As a person involved with yoga in new york-- I think your message is very watered down... these words mean nothing... Lulululemon has no action just a bunch of cheesy words on your bags, on your blogs..... this is not yoga.
