Pinkies up folks, it’s tea season! The first of September symbolizes many things for many people – for me, it’s a reminder that it’s time to pull out my prized tea collection (which is starting to look something more like an obsession) and rekindle my love affair with a hot cuppa. Here are 10 fun tidbits that’ll make you fall in love with tea all over again.

I love tea especially Chinese black teas– the really dark and bitter ones. Growing up, tea has always been a part of our culture. |

The benefits of tea are many. The problems…all the fabulous blends. I have over 75 teas just from Davids. I’m about 110 different blends when I counted last…and that’s just my loose teas. |

I had no idea that all teas came from the same plant. This is such an interesting blog post to spark my palate for some tea. I think I will branch out this fall and try some more flowery teas. I tend to stick to traditional blends. I also had no idea it was the second most popular beverage in the world. I can definitely rock at office trivia today. Thanks, lululemon! Hey, here’s an idea; grow your own herbal teas! I grow chamomile, spearmint, chocolate mint, lemon verbena and lemon balm in my back yard and make my own teas. Also, you can make tea out of rosemary, thyme (good for colds) and lavendar, too! Great loose leaf tea place in Old Town Pasadena near your store there called Bird Pick.
