Having been drawn to yoga due to multiple injuries from long distance
running, Ingrid embarked upon her yoga journey in 1999 in New York
City. She soon discovered that the healing powers of yoga extend
beyond the asana practice and now finds the balance of running and
yoga to be her most therapeutic expression of love. With over a
decade of yoga teaching experience, Ingrid has lead classes,
workshops, and teacher trainings all over world. She holds
certifications from the styles of Sivananda, Jivamukti and OM yoga.
As well as teaching yoga, Ingrid currently practices as an attorney
specializing in intellectual property law. In her past lives, she has
been a venture capitalist, strategic business consultant, jazz
lounge singer in Australia, corporate attorney in NYC, and founder and
owner of Blue Point Yoga Center.
Ingrid's classes are upbeat and energetic, incorporating a vigorous
vinyasa flow with dharma teaching and a strong understanding of human
physiology. She also teaches meditation, runner’s yoga, and yin yoga
workshops and leads teacher trainings in Yoga for Cancer Therapy in La
Jolla, CA. Ingrid has personally witnessed the healing powers of yoga
in herself and her students, and considers herself lucky to share the
gift of yoga with others.
