I am the Owner and President of JS Training Systems and have been training people in fitness and nutrition for nine years. My certifications include: NASM CPT, NASM PES, and USAT Triathlon Coach.
I grew up right here in Chandler. I attended Azusa Pacific University in Pasadena, California, where I began training. I then moved with my husband to Southern Italy for a few years, where I trained our country’s military personnel and worked with trainers from all over Europe. My time away from the people and lifestyle in Phoenix made me miss it more than I thought possible. I moved home in 2008 and began working with individuals from all over the Valley.
I train my clients in their homes or any environment that can challenge and motivate them. My business is focused on serving the people I am blessed to come in contact with. I do this by building relationships and earning the trust necessary to help people meet their goals. One of my proudest accomplishments is the longevity of the professional and personal relationships I have with my clients. I have never had a short-term client (which I would define as less than a year). I help my clients meet their short-term goals quickly and healthily, maintain their progress, and then go after long-term goals they never thought possible. I have achieved the best results by being creative with a total body fitness approach that includes everything from running and stretching to weights and supersets. I have been blessed to train and build close relationships with clients ranging from the elderly to teenagers, from the obese to military special forces and professional athletes, and everything in between.
I am passionate about researching nutrition and fitness, which has benefited my clients and myself immensely. My excitement for nutrition and fitness has allowed me to successfully compete in Triathlons, overcome an autoimmune disease, and as I recently experienced, maintain my fitness through a healthy and enjoyable pregnancy (I finished my first half ironman while five weeks pregnant without knowing it at the time). I believe in the life changing effect of nutrition and fitness because I live it in my own life.
To stay in shape and keep myself motivated, you will usually find me running with my dog Steve up South Mountain, swimming, cycling, or pushing myself in the gym on any given day.
