Amy is principle teacher and owner of Inna Bliss Yoga, and has been practicing yoga and been working in the healing arts for 9 years.
Amy established Inna Bliss Yoga in 2008, born from a hope and willingness to share the tremendous gifts and transformations that yoga brings, with the Brisbane bayside community.
Amy’s first experience of yoga in 2000 sparked an internal desire to understand more about the intimate link that exists between body, mind, and emotions, and to utilise this knowledge to assist others in their own healing journeys and personal challenges.
Amy has over 8 years of experience in various styles of Yoga, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Bhakti, Ki Yoga, Ryoho Yoga and Prana flow. She completed her formal teacher training with My Health Yoga in 2008 and has since then continued to enhance her teaching through formal trainings with well renowned and inspiring international yoga teachers, including Shiva Rea, Twee Merrigan, and Janice Clarfield.
As a teacher, Amy creatively and openly brings a warm, heart-felt and empowering feel to her classes, providing students with an opportunity to deepen their own understanding and experience of the integration of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being, allowing them to discover their own infinite wisdom and internal bliss.
Amy specialises in prenatal yoga, as well as a dynamic flow yoga, incorporating strong alignment principles, taught from a gentle heart and drawing upon all of her knowledge and experience of yoga, metaphysics, healing, and massage. Amy’s emphasis on breath-inspired movement, creative sequencing and self-inquiry in her classes, allows for a practise this is balanced, holistic and deeply inspiring, thus enabling her students to experience greater ease, vitality and wellness.
