Dan began his fitness career in the NAVY in 2003 and was selected for the tri service basic Physical Training Instructors (PTI) course in which he received the highest aggregate score of the NAVY candidates in participation. As a result of this achievement Dan was offered a posting to the Australian Defence Forces’ elite candidate training facility at the Australian Defence Force Academy(ADFA), Canberra. Whilst in this position He developed his group and class taking skills, and discovered an interest in coordinating and implementing rehabilitation training to all injured cadets at ADFA.In 2007, after 12 years service Dan discharged from the NAVY after a successful operational deployment in the Persian Gulf on HMAS TOOWOOMBA.
Furthermore to Dan’s 12 years of NAVY service, and as a PTI in the NAVY, he has completed diploma in remedial massage and now develops injury rehabilitation and fitness programs with an emphasis on postural correction. Dan and his business partner James launched the Battle Camp Fitness program in 2008 as the newest and smallest boot camp in Canberra. 4 years on and the and the early mornings and effort to keep Battle Camp the authentic boot camp experience has paid off as Battle Camp Fitness Canberra is one of Canberra’s largest and fastest growing boot camp business’s. Dan loves to motivate people to give their best effort and seeing the results that follow.
