With much reflection after he had a shoulder injury, Jean-Nicolas found within himself a newfound motivation, and a gigantic dream, to try and compete in the upcoming Olympics. After months of hard work and training he tested in an athlete identification camp for Bobsleigh Canada and managed a performance worthy of an invitation to train with the National Canadian Bobsled Team in Calgary, Alberta.
Jean-Nicolas has since made the National Bobsleigh Team and will be competing in the upcoming 2012-2013 World Cup circuit.
