Always on the pulse of what is happening, this prolific personal fitness trainer, fitness instructor, acclaimed dancer, and choreographer to such stars as Rihanna and Leann Rimes, teaches the hottest dance fitness classes in Los Angeles. People of all ages and dance levels flock to Ilyse’s classes for her vivacious personality, fun, user-friendly routines and sweat-soaked workouts. Fiercely passionate about what she does, Ilyse is an inspiration to many, changing peoples’ lives one body at a time. Ilyse could start a collage with all the before and after photos she has collected from her many satisfied clients.
In addition to her celeb cred, Ilyse has the education: a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Performance and Dance Education from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. And yes, she paid her dues, traveling throughout the United States and Caribbean dancing professionally in many shows. Ilyse also had the honor of traveling to Beijing, China to present at the AFEEX Conference for the Asian Academy of Sports Fitness Professionals.
Well respected in the industry, Ilyse is the 2008 Winner of Exercise TV’s Top Trainer in the Country for Dance Instructor. Earlier this year, she co-starred with ABC’s Dancing With the Stars’ Cheryl Burke in Disco Abs, a new fitness DVD series.
Ilyse has that unmistakable “it” factor! She is a Lululemon ambassador and was recently handpicked by Reebok and Cirque Du Soleil to helm their latest workout –"Jukari Fit to Fly."
Ilyse Baker is a natural to be the next big thing…she can motivate, intimidate (she is from Jersey…), be a confidant (she’s the girl-next-door type, just with better abs!), and gets the job done – her clients’ incredible transformations speak for themselves, but Ilyse’s clients can’t stop raving about her!
When not being paid to inspire, Ilyse enjoys her time teaching at-risk youths to how boogie… and maybe they teach her a thing or two, too.
