Yuki Tsuji-Hoening, E-RYT, LMT & RTT, has been teaching and coaching since 2004 in disciplines such as yoga, AcroYoga, Thai massage, skydiving, body flight and dance-climb fusion. Her passion is to express her freedom and creativity with her movements.
She’s the founder and director of Karuna Health, which offers yoga and Thai massage. Born and raised in Japan for 18 years, her life philosophy is to be simple, intuitive, and dynamic in her work, study and play. She has been a student of yoga since 2000. She pursued her teacher training with Iyengar Yoga senior teacher, Nancy Stechert, in Hotchikiss CO. Her classes are filled with fun movements, partner work, and detailed and precise instruction on alignment. Her sequencing allows students to drop deeper with intelligence and gentleness. Her passion and curiosity for healing arts brings her to the focus of therapeutics and restorative yoga.
She is also a certified AcroYoga (Yoga, Acrobatics and Thai Massage combined) teacher who loves to build a playful community. She’s been teaching for her local community in Boulder/Denver as well as traveling to teach, including immersions and the Annual AcroYoga Divine Play Festivals in CA as well as facilitating nationwide teacher trainings. She is a student of Jean-Luc Martin from Heel to Hand in San Diego for handstand and hand to hand acrobatics and has been collaborating with him to bring handstand workshop intensives to Boulder since 2012.
Her latest passion is to perform with AscenDance Project (ascendanceproject.com), combining climbing and dancing on the climbing wall.
She enjoys being active outdoors; rock/ice climbing, mountain biking, hiking, Nordic skiing, backcountry skiing and more.
