Nancy Kate’s enchantment for the practice shines in her ability to hold space for students to go inside and create personal transformation in a fun, loving & supportive environment. Her classes focus on integrity of alignment and intention in every moment with sequencing that is thoughtful, deliberate, balanced and challenging. She trusts that it is through this precise way of practicing that we create the awareness to learn about our bodies, our selves and how we relate to the world…deepening all the connections in our lives.
Her passion for the foundation of yoga, it’s roots & philosophy, was ignited through her early training in the Sivananda organization. In search of a sustainable vinyasa practice based in alignment with an emphasis on philosophy she discovered Maya Yoga, and began to study with Nicki Doane and Eddie Modestini completing several training programs at their studio on Maui.
Most recently her teaching has been influenced by Shannon Paige Schneider, who Nancy Kate co-directs the Tillai Om Time teacher training with in Boulder, CO. From all these amazing opportunities her teaching style unfolded into a fun, fluid vinyasa practice with conscious alignment. Nancy Kate is an ERYT-500 teacher that instructs from her personal practice and has studied extensively, completing over 1000 hours of teacher training programs. She believes that there is always more to learn as she welcomes the opportunity to evolve and grow as a student and a teacher.
